A response to this statement should provide the following:The reasons for the prolonged delay in the commencement of the construction works for Ruringu Dispensary despite the project having received budgetary allocation and the site having been handed over to the contractor in the month of May, 2026.The status of the project and the challenges, if any, that may have contributed to the delay in commencement.The specific timelines for the commencement and completion of the construction of the dispensary and the measures the County Government will put in place to ensure the project is completed without further delay. ... Simon Mbogo today met petitioners from Mucharage Community, Othaya who called on the County Assembly to engage the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) in charge of Lands and Physical Planning to facilitate the commencement of the cadastral planning process for land parcel No. LR CHINGA/GIKIGIE/1529 (Formerly LR CHINGA/GIKIGIE/559) and the adjoining public utility areas.The petitioners also called for involvement of all relevant public institutions, stakeholders and community members in the planning process through adequate public Participation. The Committee also met petitioners from Holy Spirit Fire Fellowship Church, Witima urging the County Assembly to facilitate an amicable, lawful and transparent resolution of the boundary and Access road dispute between the Church and neighboring landowners.
